An AI platform that lifted successful business registrations by 40%

Context

Getting a small business registered and funding-ready is slow, confusing, and full of paperwork. A startup wanted to remove that friction with software that could guide founders end to end, and prove the idea worked with real users.

The problem

Founders were stalling on company registration and struggling to produce investor-ready business plans. The platform needed to automate genuinely useful work (not just wrap a chatbot), stay fast and reliable, and scale to hundreds of small businesses.

Approach

We co-led development of an AI-powered platform that walks users through CIPC business registration, dynamically generates investor-ready business plans, and recommends tailored funding products. We integrated the OpenAI API for business-plan generation and Cloudinary for file storage, built secure token-based authentication with role-based access and encrypted credentials, and shipped a fast, responsive front end across a full-stack build.

During pilot testing, successful business registrations rose by roughly 40%, and automated business-plan generation saved users about four hours each. The wider platform went on to support more than 500 small businesses, evidence that we build AI products that deliver measurable value, not demos.
